I received my diploma from Algonquin College as Library and Information Technician in 1992. I’ve worked at various business and science libraries, chose early on to focus on research / reference and document retrieval positions and now find work in areas normally reserved for librarians with a MLS or MLIS.

Libtech in Librarianland is a collection of research, resources, databases, info snippets, productivity pointers, and/or whatever I am working on that I think may be of interest. Currently my sectoral focus is on extractive industries, energy, knowledge management and sustainable development.
